Cynthia Sass and Jennifer Zumarraga co-authored the article, Jurisdictional Questions Raised When Remote Workers Reside in Other States and Countries, found on page 8 of the Fall 2021, Volume 29, No. 3 issue of the Labor and Employment Law newsletter published by the American Bar Association’s Section of Labor and Employment Law. Since the coronavirus pandemic, remote worker issues are more relevant than ever.

She was moderator and panelist for a discussion on Preparing for the Next Crisis: Lessons Learned from the COVID-19 Pandemic.

November 10, 2021 – Yvette Everhart moderated the panel presentation, The Attorney-Client Privilege for Labor & Employment Practitioners, at the 15th Annual ABA Section of Labor and Employment Law Conference. The panel addressed various concerns and evidentiary issues employment practitioners face in the practice of employment law.

October 15, 2021 – Cynthia Sass, with co-presenters Matthew Dietz and Lucas Hernández, addressed The Florida Bar Senior Lawyers Committee with a virtual CLE program. Their panel discussed the American Disabilities Act as it applies to lawyers and law firms, and what is needed to make the workplace accessible for individuals with disabilities, such as hearing, sight and mobility issues, as well as websites.
